We have 2002 GTX's, one no problem...the other after turning over, we continue to have trouble starting. We buy new batteries, install them, they run for a little while....then nothing...we charge with a trickle charger and then it barely starts. This morning we bought a new battery again! We had a mechanic work on it, he replaced a $900. part ???, charge $500 labor and we still have troubles. He's mystified himself. Something is draining the battery while it's in dry dock. We run it for an hour or hour and a half (when we can get it started) and the next time, no start, sometimes a little noise like it's trying, other times....nothing. Frustrating!!!!!

I would get a multimeter and check to see if power is draining when it isn't on. If it is, then get a wiring diagram and start checking connections. 2002 isn't that old, but it is still possible for a wire to corrode and create a short.
