    Lightbulb 96 Spx Vts

Hi, I picked up a 96 SPX with bad VTS - motor, housing...the works all shot. Does anyone know if any of the other models VTS are interchangable with mine. The 95 XP and 96 SPX share the same trim. I was wondering if any others would work (possibly newer, more reliable??).

Default Yes.....here are a list of some....

Yes, your model is interchangable with a couple other years......
P/N for the VTS motor is: 278000616
Used in the 1996 GSX, SPX, and the XP.
Used in the 1997 GS, GSI, GSX, SP, SPX, XP.
Used in the 98 GSX Limited, SPX, XP Limited.
Let me know if I can help any further.
BTW, that motor will run you in the range of $185 bucks brand new.

Quality parts at low prices, visit Seadoowarehouse right here in our own forum. Please PM me if you are having a problem finding what you need!

Is your jet ski fast? Do you want your XP or RXP to stand out? I know a place that has what you need to make it faster. Make your jetsksi a muscle craft, not just the ordinary, standard stock ski.

Seen my GTX?... Those awesome graphics can be purchased from JetSki Detailing. Tell them Seadooforum sent you.

Ever wonder what the inside of your 787cc engine looks like. Want to identify the parts, check out my thread on the 787. I'm sure there is something for everyone who want to learn about the internal parts.

    Default Your welcome!....

Your welcome. I'd normally close a thread when it seems to have a successful ending.....but in the event you find another part of the VTS you may need an answer on, I'll leave it open for another week or so.
