    Default .........!

O.K..........do you want me to tell you like I told KustomKarl?........
All kidding aside, I know it's gonna be killing you till you can put it in the water!....I bet you'll be the first one out there, when the snow is almost melted. All the people still wearing their sweaters or coats and they'll be thinking, "would you just look at him......he's got to be cold.......it's only 52*F!"............. congrats!
Looking for tips and advice, researched articles on carbs, spark plugs and general maintenance can be found at Snipes Korner. You can also follow me on "Twitter".

Quality parts at low prices, visit Seadoowarehouse right here in our own forum. Please PM me if you are having a problem finding what you need!

Is your jet ski fast? Do you want your XP or RXP to stand out? I know a place that has what you need to make it faster. Make your jetsksi a muscle craft, not just the ordinary, standard stock ski.

Seen my GTX?... Those awesome graphics can be purchased from JetSki Detailing. Tell them Seadooforum sent you.

Ever wonder what the inside of your 787cc engine looks like. Want to identify the parts, check out my thread on the 787. I'm sure there is something for everyone who want to learn about the internal parts.

    Default Congrats!

Congrats on your new Doo. I plan on purchasing the same doo actually. I have gone to a local SeaDoo dealership and the salesman was explaining to me that he would not be going lower than the MSRV of $13,299. I'm currious asto how much you paid for yours.
Also, I had spoken with the parts manager and he had stated that after 50 hours any SeaDoo with a super charger would have to be tunned-up which would cost $800. Does this sound normal or are they trying to run me through the ringer?

    Default Price break-down....

Bowman, there was a price break-down somewhere in the forum for how much and what it all covered. I read it last night, just dont' seem to remember where it was......
As for you my friend.......it sounds like they may not only be running you through the wringer, but through the lint trap of the dryer too!....
I'm looking at the service maintenance chart right now for the 2007 model supercharged 4-TEC....and I don't see that "tune-up" in here. The engine is so technically advanced, it's designed to tune itself as you operate it. Only when you have a code in your EMS (engine management system) would you need to take it in for work, then they'll hook it up to a computer to see what's going on. There are several inspections on other systems starting at the first 10 hours, like the engine oil and filter for example.
In the maintenance chart, there is a service on the supercharger slated for 200 hours or every 2 years, for checking the clutch plates for slippage.
You have to be careful out here when it comes to new purchases.
I'd recommend anyone who looks to buy a new Sea-Doo come into the forum and read up a little. Especially in the "jargon" of the 4-TEC engines, that way when you go to the dealership, you'll have a basic understanding of how this engine works, armed with a little of the terminology so that you won't be taken for ignorant. It's all about the almighty dollar!

That is an awesome ride! It's a great feeling getting a brand new shinny toy.
    Good luck with it.

even better news I told that dealer I had originally bought it from to shove it because another dealer contacted me and said he would sell to me with trailer and everything for 13500 minus cover but thats minor.

See it depends on how bad the dealer wants to sell the seadoo. I had dealers tell me the 200speedster had a msrp...like $2000.00 more, plus the trailer was extra, which is included from seadoo. Of course those dealers didn't get my business.
