    Default Seat removal

Any insight on removing the rear seat from a 1998 challenger 1800? The bottom part of the seat looks like it has 6 screws holding it but how do you get to them?

Since we are talking about seats, and the year model is similar to mine...

Do the front (bow) seat pads snap out? And same question as first guy, but on my 97 Challenger with only one row of seats. And the spotter seat.
I just wanna go fast, get wet, and have fun...

And if you get bored check out my Maverick website http://scooper77515.fordmaverick.net/index.htm

The center pad in the bow snaps out but the side two are fixed, atleast one of mine is and the other has broken free. Any idea on what it might cost to have the bottom part of the back seat recovered?

I just had my 97 challenger 1800 re-upholstered, and the front back rest, just push up on it. Held in by 2-angle bent flat stocks and 2 darts. Whole boat cost me 450 buks, from guy in Rancho Cucamonga, and did excellent job.

Timmy that looks great, mine aren't that bad but they are getting pretty thin. Now I just have to find a decent apholstery shop close by.

Hello, I am new to the site. I have a 1997 seadoo challenger. I am trying to find out how to remove the rear seat bottoms in order to dry them out.

I just took all my seats out minus the bottom rear bench. A 10mm GearWrench comes in real handy with the captains chairs.

    Needing a little work:

I'm to lazy to pull the bench out, but its good enough for now. The rest of the boat needs a good cleaning (but I have been walking aroung in my work boots):

They did change them after 1997 from what I've seen, to a design with less cushion peices. A customs boat canvas shop can almost always recover them cheaper than you can buy factory covers for.

I took all the parts into a very good canvas shop locally and got a quote of $850 for everything to be replace. They are gonig to try and clean up a lot of the white that isnt torn or cracked, which will bring the price down, but I plan on keeping this boat for a LONG time, so its worth it.
