My garage is not heated and was below freezing quite a bit, the RV antifreeze I used is good for well below 0, I forget the exact temp. I didn't have any exhaust leaks or any problems, hopefully I never will haha.

I did it last winter with my boat, no problems. I do think antifreeze dripped out of the boat and could have caused a small amount of peeling finish on my ride plate. As a result this year I plan to follow up with some compressed air and hosing off the rear of the boat with water.

Just wondering if we have any 195 owners that could give us some reviews on these babies? The 195 impulse is in my sights but I have to say I was hoping for HP comparable to a Speedster. Looks like better quality than Sea Doo on the interior.

Well that makes me feel a bit better Joe. My boat hasn't been ran hard and has only been in fresh water. PWCmuscle rebuilt my SC last year. I just hate thinking something (those darn hollow exhaust valves) could be a ticking time bomb.

Thanks for the replies gents! I haven't taken off the valve cover yet, and won't be able to check out the engine for a few days, I need to see if there are any parts I should buy first for the inspection, like a valve cover gasket, etc. That's not the news I was hoping to hear Joe haha! I know...

Today I read about the older style 4Tec exhaust valves and how Sea Doo changed the design in 07. Looks like 2006 was around the time of the change, and my boat is a 2006. I am familiar with 2 stroke engines but 4 strokes are kind of new to me. To check the numbers engraved on the valves it seems...

That is a great looking boat! I have been looking for a nice, well maintained speedster 200 with no luck. I love the Sportster SCIC but I would love more room. Any updates with matching the throttle?

Well in case this can help anyone else, I removed the supercharger today and here is a HUGE piece of advice for anyone removing their supercharger. Buy a Gearwrench ratcheting E8 wrench and grind it down like this...

I plan on removing my supercharger (2006 Sportster SCIC) and sending it out next week, any tips? I watched the video and purchased new 2.5" hose clamps, and a ratcheting E8 box wrench. I should be good to go. Thanks!
