The liquid behind the pump diaphragm came out of the crank case. It won’t pump fuel WITH liquid in there.

Your stern CSI is at the tow hook, correct?

Is the hot always there and the MPEM completes the circuit by making the ground?

You are correct the white wire going to the coil, will cause a test light to ‘flicker’ when cranking if everything downstream is correct.
