I used Miki`s advice and drilled mine out. I had a few more that were way stuck but was able to get them out with the jls screwdriver and a 13 m wench. First time the carbs were rebuilt from 96.

I was just going to post a thread I am having a big problem as well. I tried the jls screwdriver then a # 2 Philips as it didnt have the little dot. Then heat from a tiny torch. Next will be a impact. Never had such a problem. These wont budge.

My gts doesnt have a plug on the nose cone. How do yall fill yours? Im thinking about drilling and tapping a plug but worried about it falling out and making more of a problem.

Well the resistance was way off. Some were not even close and a couple were open. So I ordered a new mpen. Wired it in and got 2 beeps as soon as I put the lanyard on. But no start. I am going to clean the connections and try again.

I printed page number 166 from the manual and I am going to check resistance on the mpen. I dont have the other tools besides my meter so that is as much as I can do.

Thanks I will check the manual. There is no power going to the starter solenoid coil.

It will crank if I short the solenoid but not with the start button.

One thing you always have to do with a old ski is change the fuel lines if you havent already. Doesnt cost much but is very important.

Yes probably so but its been sitting for almost 20 years so might not be leaking to much. I might go ahead and buy a mpen but I dont like just changing parts.

Pumps are the best way to go. They really are very reliable. Plus they vary the injection of oil compared to mixing it. You use way more oil mixing it and lose performance.
