    2002 GTI locked up

Rust will pit the rings and cylinder walls. If it was mine and I was going to keep it, new top end. If you just want to see if it will run then have at it but know that if it lets go it will be more expensive if it takes parts with it. You also need a full rebuild of the fuel system no matter...

    Dess issue (attempted theft)

We need to establish if it actually a DESS model first. But yes, crossing all the wires could have shorted out the MPEM but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

    2003 XP-DI Help

I would avoid any "injector cleaner" in a 2-stroke. Do it correctly and send the fuel and air injectors out for professional cleaning. @etemplet has an injector guy. First step is always fresh fuel and sparkplugs.

It is also a path for the exhaust to escape so there could be a blockage in the exhaust system.

    1993 Seadoo XP PTO

There is no way to get sand into the pistons.... Also if it turns one direction then "Catches" is is typically a rotary valve issue, I would pull the carbs and rotary cover and make sure nothing is jammed in the rotary valve like an air cleaner bolt (very common).

You will still have some play in the crank even if the pistons are seized. Rust in any of the cylinders is not a good sign. #1 was this ski used in salt or freshwater? If it was freshwater, I would pull the head and have a look but you will need new o-rings.

    1993 Seadoo XP PTO

99.9% of the time a rusted engine is broken free the damage is done and the pistons and rings will finish themselves off when/if you get it to fire. If it has been sitting you also need to do a full fuel system rebuilt.

    Dess issue (attempted theft)

1995 GTX does not have DESS. Also a 1995 GTX has a 650 engine not 720. Last two digits of the VIN will be the correct model year.

    Fuel delivery 2000 Rx951

Compression is fine at this point, perfect on a 951 is 130 psi. #1. Get those carbs rebuilt correctly. Also look at the oil since it looks green/blue which is typically not the correct API-TC full synthetic.

Hello, Back in the PWC World

Use some fogging oil or 2-stroke oil to lube the cylinders, not PB Blaster. Yes, it is fuel injected and oil injected. You do not change the oil like on a 4-stroke. The orange lugs ae for grounding the sparkplug wires when cranking it over without the sparkplugs in. Yes, rear PTO (Flywheel)...

    Wacky Carbs

Don't get hung up on pop-off as it is a test and not how the engine runs. Make sure you have the correct needle and seat, spring and new arms with pivots and pop-off should be within spec. No, the 80 gram spring that is not in the kits is for the 787 engines, not for the 951/947. That chart...
