I've seen this done several times with stand up skis. All you are doing is flipping your body around and sitting on the hood, pushing the front of the ski into the water and the rear upwards so that the nozzle sticks out of the water but the intake is still below the water linee

UPDATE: Got the rectifier issue solved. Seemed to be a bad ground. Fired the ski up and tested the voltage at the battery to be 12.5 . Isn't that a little low? shouldn't it be more like 13.5? If so, what do i check next? stator? and I'm having a bogging issue. The ski fires right up and...

UPDATE: I installed the external rectifier from Only SeaDoo and reinstalled the carbs. No spark AT ALL. checked fuses and a couple of other things, still no spark. Disconnected the external rectifier kit and plugged the stock connector back into the mag housing and it fired up like a champ...

Thanks. That line is in the correct spot. it is hooked up on both ends. Since I evidently have the 5625, I'm assuming that is my only line?

I have the silver engine but the white manifold, stator cover etc. On my ski, the line that is at the top of the manifold is going to the water valve on the exhaust. I will take pictures of everything tomorrow if i need to.

I also found this diagram on a website. It shows the hoses routed the way most people have been telling me it should be. I see that there are two models of the 1998 GSX limited. the first diagram I posted shows the 5625. this diagram shows the 5629. Can anyone explain this to me?
