Did you try unplugging the ret wire coming from the voltage regulator

Just make sure you are getting power to the 5 am fuse on the MPEM

You could have a bad Dess post or a bad MPEM but hopefully it’s not an MPEM

Check your fuses there is 1 in the back e box and 2 in the very front and also check your ground in the back ebox

The xp has no reverse

I wouldn’t mess with a di or a rfi even it were free I had a rfi once I hated that thing great when it ran good but the key word there when. I would look into getting a different ski than mess with that thing

My bet would be the oil injection lines took a crap that’s what causes most engine failures

O yeah pressure test is a good idea. Yeah slotting the raves that weird don’t know much about that seems weird to me my 96 xp raves is not slotted

Kind sounds like you got an exhaust leak ride it with the seat see what she does. Also check the raves

I would look at your rotory valve clearance I had a aftermarket rotor valve be thinner than the oem one it caused it to run like crap

The one carb has a fuel pump on it that gets a pulse from the crank case and it pulls from the tank. Sounds like you fuel baffle is bad

We they don’t have a drive shaft bearing I believe so maybe something from the carbon seal

That seams like something from the drive shaft bearing

clean your raves my bet would be something other than carbs because if it was running out of fuel it would surge. Which I believe it’s not from what you’re saying. Sounds like you got a sweet setup there get it right she won’t do you wrong
