    It's a 717 1996 spx so no raves to worry about. The whole carb has been cleaned/rebuilt with mikuni parts so I'm not leaning towards fuel being the issue anymore since i redid fuel selector valve/water separator. I'll check out that link for used parts

    OEM carb rebuild done, swapped fuel lines / new fuel filter to rule out a bad clamp or crap in lines since fuel tank wasn't spotless.     I did the same remediation to my 96 xp and still going strong, will try to rule out fuel. Can't find anything in manual about lack in top end speed

    I have 41 and 40 psi for pop off in the carbs. Should I try fuel selector/water separator gasket before tackling the carbs again?
