speedometer not working

I am new to this site and pretty new to owning a seadoo. I had it out on Tuesday and the speedometer worked great, Wednesday took it out and the speedometer didn't work at all. Now Tuesday where I launched it, it was very muddy when I took it out. Is there a speed sensor on the outside of my 2002 GTI LE that may have come loose? If so, can someone tell me where it is located. If not, any suggestions on what is wrong?

Should be in the back. Sometimes they do get gunked up, so definately check it for physical problems. If there isn't anything keeping it from working properly, then electrical problems may be the cause. In the next week or two we'll have electrical diagrams that could be useful for you.
