I'd like to pull off all of the factory decals off my '92 XP so I can get a new updated (non neon) color scheme. What is the best way to safely remove the decals? Thanks..

Use a hair dryer on high heat, aimed fairly close to the decal. It'll take a minute of so to heat the glue, but once the glue gets hot, it should begin to release the bond.

Thanks. I noticed I had a typo in my last message. My machine is actually a '92 not an '02. So once I have my decals off, is there a certain kind of paint I need to use? Can I use spraypaint? I saw some paint on Overtons.com that was specifically made for PWC as kind of a restorer/colorchanger. Does anyone have any experience with that? Thanks.

I just repainted my 1989 bombadier with white rattle can lacquer and it did A-OK so far. Am having some decals made for it next week.
