problem

i forgot to put the drain plug in got engine compartment all wet will it dry or do i need to have it serviced ?motor was not running at the time.

I would spray down teh engine compartment with wd-40 as it is a good water displacement spray. I would check to be sure the compartment is dry and the engine didn't get water in it as well. If all the electrical boxes and fuses are dry, start the boat up and run it in the water fof a while to be sure it is all dry.

thanks i will try that wont be untill sunday i get a chance to refloat it

If the engine has water in it and you don't start it till Sunday you will have a huge problem!! Try to get to it before and get it started.
