On June 12th the Lake Worth Boat & Ski Club will be hosting an event titled Bands for Cans in which local bands will be performing on stage, outdoors, on the water front. There is plenty of room to watch the event from the water or the shore. The club has docking facilities to tie up if you wish. There is plenty of room to wakeboard or ski in front of the club along with a slalom ski course while listening to the bands. The event starts at noon and lasts 'til 1am. This event sponsors the Community Link Mission and admission is $2 or 2 cans of food. There will be beverages and food for purchase on shore or you can enjoy your own if viewing from the water.
I will have my 230 Wake in the water during this event if anyone is curious about this boat you're more than welcome to come visit and ask questions. Any club member can direct you to me.
