I have a 2003 speedster 200 with a v6 mercury engine 2stroke. I bought some bombardier xps synthetic oil from dealer but after reading my boat manual it says I should use mercury or quicksilver oil. Will it harm the engine if I use the xps synthetic?

Do not use that oil!
It does not have the TC-W3 certification that is required by the Mercury. Go to Walmart, or your local marine dealer and pick up a jug of the Quicksilver TC-W3.

Thanks alot for your expertise. One more question. I already put it in the resorvoir tank. What's the best way to take all the oil from the tank?

I'm not sure on your hull, but on my Utopia I can just remove the two caps and one strap and lift the tank out. Really simple.

Once again Aaron, thanks for your information. I will look at mine to see how I can remove the tank to drain it completely.
